Making a booking is fast and easy. Depending on the listing, you can either book and pay online, or send an enquiry to the owner.
It's a good idea to check out the photos and listing details before booking, to make sure you're happy with the place. If you have any questions, you can message the owner.
Online bookings
Found the perfect place? To make a booking:
- Select the property from your search or browse results.
- Select 'Book'.
- Enter your details, then select 'Continue'.
- Check over your booking details, the owner's cancellation policy, and payment schedule.
- Continue to payment, enter your card details, and submit your booking.
You won't be charged until the owner confirms your booking. We'll let you know if the owner declines, or doesn't confirm. Instant bookings are charged upon confirmation.
Enquiry bookings
To book a property that doesn't accept online payment:
- Select the property from your search or browse results.
- Select 'Enquire'.
- Enter your details, then select 'Send an enquiry'.
- Arrange things like payment directly with the owner.
If the owner can accommodate you, they'll contact you using the contact details you've provided. You'll also receive the owner's contact details if you need to follow up with them.
We recommend having a contract for your stay. Most owners will have one ready to go. If they don't, feel free to suggest using our template.
Trouble booking or sending an enquiry
You won't be able to request a booking if your stay is too long, or too short. Some owners set minimum and maximum stays.
They might still be happy to accommodate you – simply adjust your dates so you can send them a message. If they're unable to accommodate your request, you don't need to book.
