Pay Per Booking is a commission model. Owners pay us a commission on every successful booking received through the site.
Renter payments can only be processed online using this model. Online payments use our secure credit card processing facility – there is no additional fee for credit card processing.
Owners can choose to accept bookings instantly or 'on request'. If an owner is accepting bookings 'on request', we’ll email a booking request from the renter which you can accept or decline. The renter is charged once the booking is accepted.

Pay Per Booking listings do not qualify for multiple house discounts.
Owners can set up Pay Per Booking listings to automatically accept booking requests, or to have booking requests emailed to the owner from interested renters.
Owners have the option to accept or decline these bookings – we’ll only charge you a commission on accepted bookings.
Accepting or declining booking requests
To accept or decline a booking request:
- Head to your account.
- Select “View all enquiries”.
- Select the listing in question, and follow the prompts to accept or decline a booking request.
You can also accept or decline bookings via the email notification we send to you.
We’ll send you reminders about any outstanding booking request you have.
The renter's details are included in the booking request. Owners can contact the renter directly before accepting the booking if need be.
Cancelling an accepted booking
To cancel an accepted booking:
- Head to your Holiday Houses account.
- Select ‘View all enquiries’, and select the booking.
- Follow the prompts to cancel the booking.
